1994 - 1995 Peg started to ride motorcycles in August of '94. The reason was that if something happened to us out on the road and I couldn't drive, she could go and get help. The Pennsylvania DOT has free riding classes and they supply the motorcycles. She took the class and enjoyed it so much she decided to no longer be just a passenger. Funny, some guys feel intimidated when "their" women want their own bikes. I love it! It's so sexy seeing Peg decked in leather, legs stretched out, riding her own steed. She had a girlfriend who gave her an old '78 400 Honda Hawk which I paid to get fixed up. It was Peg's first bike and although it ran well, it proved to be too tall for her. Peg is a short woman and several time when she rolled to a stop, she had trouble balancing with her toes and the bike would fall over. She got quite frustrated and was considering dropping riding all together. Above is one of the very few photos I found of Peg's first bike. It was taken at a friend's house in Doylestown, Pa. The two of us had just finished dinner and were preparing for our trip home.
