Now when you click a thumbnail photograph in the Locomotive Roster page or the Rolling Stock Roster page, the text in the enlarged photograph is much sharper. This change also made the Image file size a little smaller.

Most of the JavaScript is now in an external file. This was done to streamline the coding and to increase bandwidth performance.

A new page on the Sunbury & Lewistown Railway has been added, and is linked from the Route page. Also, copy on the Mifflin & Centre County Railroad has been updated.

After examining an old map, I found that the Lewistown & Reedsville trolley ran from the terminus in Burnham out 8th avenue, on its way to old Burnham Park. The map on the Lewistown & Reedsville Electric Railway page now reflects that.

The Awards Received page is now broken up into three pages. This was done to ease the graphic load time, and to better organize the awards.

To add to the season's festivities a Holiday Puzzle was created. A link to the Holiday Puzzle was also added to the home page.

Timetables have been added to the Afternoon Train Replaced by "Studemotive", Kishacoquillas Valley Railroad Route, and the Mifflin & Centre County Railroad Route pages.

I've added some other railroad-related books you can read on the Book page. They include the Lewistown & Reedsville Electric Railway Co., Lewistown and the Pennsylvania Railroad and Pitch Pine and Prop Timber.

A new link to Australian Road Trains has been added to the Links page.

Webring is integrating with Yahoo. The Webrings that have contacted me have been changed over to the new Yahoo format. With this change, TrainWeb has also rewritten their webring policy and now requires their Webring to be placed on the home page of all member websites. Therefore, I have decided to no longer participate in their webring and have deleted it from this site.

Changed all text link size, color and style for easier reading. Also added lanterns to the main text links at the bottom of all pages.

Added revision date on Home page.

The home page has 3 new buttons; What's New, Awards and Hidden Link. An Awards Received page has been added.

The engine sound on the home page will now only play once per session.

A Hidden Link has been added to the site.

The site has gone through a major revision in navigation. The top menu bar is now in its own frame so that the user no longer needs to scroll to link to other sections. And, when you click on a picture, the enlarged image is now displayed in it's own window. If you come across any problems, please let me know. Link to www.defunctparks.com was added to Lewistown & Reedsville Electric Railway page to show how Kishacoquillas Park looks today.

Engine sound has been added to the home page. The locomotive on the menu bar will now puff smoke when you mouse over any of the menu selections.

Pages on the Lewistown & Reedsville Electric Railway and a Logging Railroad have been added, and are linked from the Route page.

The Ol' Hook & Eye has won TrainNet's coveted Web Gem award!

A Language Translator has been added for our international railfans.

Back links were added to all pages without a menu bar.

Webrings have been added to the Links page, as well as a Webring Entrance page. Annoying frames from previous websites are eliminated, with a JavaScript frame break out routine.
